My designs are minimal, high-fashion, inclusive, and androgynous, with a focus on menswear and tailoring.

A made-to-order small business that sells lace lingerie and sleepwear for women, focusing on embracing femininity, inclusivity and sustainability.

My Design Philosophy

I aspire to create garments that are carefully constructed with high-quality and carefully selected materials. As sustainability has slowly become one of the main qualities of the fashion industry, my designs are and will always be thoughtful throughout the whole design process.

My concept idea was inspired by a phenomenon in Japan called “Karoshi” which means death caused by overworking. (This could be from mental health issues, or death from a heart attack - a physical problem that often occurs to an overworked and exhausted individual). This phenomenon highlights the dark side of our society’s hustle culture and workism: people are so busy working and achieving, so much that they tend to forget themselves to the point they turn into work zombie.

The collection highlights the exhausted appearance of an overworked office worker, following the storyline of “days in a week”, from prim and proper Monday to worn-out Weekend. My collection includes oversized tailoring jackets and suits, wide-leg trousers and shorts, and deconstructed white-collar shirts styled with classic office neckties. I want to uncover the hustle office environment with a focus on emotion and fashion.

A “comfort zone" is where a person feels the most safe. However, in order to grow, they need to step outside of it. After the pandemic, people are used to their own environment. My concept represents a transition from a personal perspective to a not-so-soft and comfy reality.
